There are dogs that are great for family groups and places like apartment units and those that have little or no yard space. They can also be good companions for singles or seniors, or people who like to live alone but with somebody else other than a human as a living companion. The best canine companions for this type of situations are also the most loved, well known and unique breeds in the world.

The most excellent breeds of canines have great natures for the home. The Standard Poodle Yorkie is a breed developed from two of the most recognized by the American Kennel Club or AKC and has been around for many years, giving loyalty and friendship to many satisfied owners. The AKC runs a system that creates standards and qualities for all dogs that are raised and bred in kennels or other places through America.

The Yorkie comes from Yorkshire Terriers and Toy Poodles, being smaller dogs that have a boundless kind of energy and playfulness but not too manic to be pests in the home. They are kind of clownish as well as great actors that provide lighthearted actors that make homes fun places to be. As much as any other type of dog, the Yorkie also enjoys backyard exercise.

These are the best suited types for roles as lapdogs, and enjoy being with children, adults and seniors. They have the warmest attitudes and are quite attuned to the emotions of their masters, and have the most amazing understanding of human ways. Yorkies, though, are still be recognized as a legitimate or real breed by all the organizations that apply like the AKC.

The term for this type of is designer dog, which is the name for mixtures that have been thought up as good pairings by a variety of experts and owners. The demand was to have the best qualities of the Yorkshire Terrier and Toy Poodle, which are affection, intelligence and gentleness. They have developed into creatures who are eager to please.

Despite their being small, they make for excellent guards around the home. They have big barks and are also courageous, having come from one breed that used to be the most popular guardians for houses in England. They also have great physical gifts, like excellent running and leaping capabilities.

Known for their intelligence, they are easily taught tricks. For competitive shows and other organized events, they perform some of the best acts that are well known throughout the business. The can be the best popular showstoppers, because they love playing up to an audience to please their masters. Perhaps the best known trait of the breed is being clownish, which they never tire of doing especially in competition.

Yorkies are very good looking and have excellent points for grooming and show purposes. They really take after their handsome parent breeds, and are becoming a force to reckon with in competition because of this. It will probably not take long for them to become a legitimate breed.

More unique and interesting traits for them are a great tolerance for different weather conditions, their being suited for novice owners and high adaptability, as well as their general good health and sensitivity.
